Bita Mesgarpour was born in Iran. She did her
undergraduate studies at Tehran University of Medical Sciences
in Iran and received a Doctorate in Pharmacy in 1999. She has worked as
a researcher, expert and executive manager in Iranian Institute
for Medicinal Plants, National Research Center for Medical Sciences
of Iran and Undersecretary of Research and Technology, Iranian Ministry
of Health.
In fall 2006, she started her post graduate study in
public health at Tehran University of Medical Sciences and received
her Master in Public Health (MPH) in July 2008.
Feb. 2009 she started her PhD study in the
Department of Clinical Pharmacology at the Medical
University of Vienna.
Her research field interest is Pharmacoepidemiology,
Pharmacovigilance, Scientometrics and Bibliometrics.
